License and notices

The Picogrid ECN SDK is distributed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL-2.0). Read the complete, unmodified terms in the repository LICENSE.

Apply file-level reciprocity

MPL-2.0 reciprocity is file-level. If you distribute modifications to covered SDK files, those files stay under MPL-2.0. A separate proprietary integration built on the SDK may keep its own terms.

The copyright license does not grant access to an ECN. Deployment authorization, credentials, and broker ACLs continue to govern which ECN connections, subscriptions, and publications are accepted.

Keep trademark rights separate

The bundled brand asset files are covered by MPL-2.0 like every other file; their copyright is granted under section 2.1. Section 2.3 grants no trademark rights. Picogrid, ECN, the Picogrid wordmark, and the Picogrid application mark remain Picogrid trademarks. You may copy, modify, and redistribute the asset files, but may not use Picogrid’s names or marks as trademarks, for example to brand a fork or derived product or to imply endorsement.

Check warranty and dependency terms

The SDK is provided without warranty, as stated in sections 6 and 7 of the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Third-party runtime dependencies keep their own licenses; see the repository NOTICE.md for the dependency license inventory.
